- Likes: Water play with hose, walks, running
- Dislikes: Large sticks
- Personality: Calm, engaged, playful, accepts other dogs

- Aggression: Moderate fence aggression with other dogs
- Leash Training: Strong, likes to pull a bit

Pumba has had a rough trip in life so far. After being rescued from the Downey shelter, he was taken to a foster home.
While at the foster something happened to him that has left a mark on his behavior. He was removed from that foster home and placed with a boarder.
During his time at the boarder, his rescue, Sandy Paws Sanctuary, went out of business. This left him without a benefactor and after a long time, his boarder could no longer afford to keep him.
This is when we decided to step up and take over his care until a forever home could be found for him. He is now with us in one of our luxurious kennels. He is receiving training and behavioral work and is proving to be one heck of a good boy.
He has some way to go to work through the traumas that he experienced but we feel confident that he will make an excellent companion.
